The Biggest Floppers in NBA History

Rodman Reggie Miller
"He must run classes there in how to snap your head back at the first sign of contact," Knicks coach Jeff Van Gundy said of Miller. If add in whining and on-court posturing to all of the flopping, it is any wonder why Miller is always one of the most hated players in the NBA?

Vlade Divac
Vlade himself admits to the flopping: "I probably do it once every six games. It's just timing, like any other move you have to work on. A lot of times it comes when the official has been missing calls, and you know that they know they're wrong (and they owe you one)." Divac's flopping is so blatant that at times he looks like a Latin American soccer player out there. Too bad we can't give him a red card.

The Utah Jazz
The entire Jazz team has been flopping for so long that it almost seems like they work on it in practice. The worst offenders are obviously Utah's two biggest stars, Karl Malone and John Stockton. Alonzo Mourning and other players have called the Jazz out publicly on their flopping, yet they continue to get away with it.

Dennis Rodman
Like butt-grabbing and shorts-tugging, flopping was just another irritating tool that "Rodzilla" carried around in his bag tricks. The referees who awarded charges based on Rodman's WWF-style launching of his body backward should never have been allowed to work again.

Bill Laimbeer
Rodman's flopping was blatant and extremely annoying, but it was Bill Laimbeer who taught Rodman everything he knew about flopping. It was always offensive to watch Laimbeer throw violent elbows to grab a defensive board on one play, only to follow it up by flopping his 6'11" 260 pound frame as a 6' guard tried to drive the lane. Laimbeer's flopping became so notorious that even today his name is synonymous with flopping.
