Shaquille O'Neal, Kobe Bryant, Tracy McGrady, Nick Van Exel, Eric Piatkowski and Dana Barros were fined $5,000 each by the National Basketball Association for wearing their shorts too long. Should the NBA be in the business of monitoring the length of players' shorts?

It is completely moronic that the NBA has cracked down on the length of shorts. Between players doing drugs and beating their wives, you would figure that the NBA would have enough on their hands than to gripe about 1 inch above the knee. It's not like the players are wearing the shorts down by their ankles - it's about a couple of inches. It takes nothing away from the game and it's a waste of time and energy for the NBA to be complaining about this.

That being said - that's a hilarious simulated photo of Shaq. It might just be worth it just to really see Shaw wear short shorts.

I'm glad it happenned. Eric "Eminem" Piatkowski was getting too out of hand with his baggy shorts. I bet you he probably blares his Xzibit in the locker room, too.

im tired of everyone trying to be down with the cotton pickers.....shorts should be worn the way they were meant to be....way up the butt crack......john stockon has and will be a fashion icon for many years to come....."Bird's the word"
